Classes to be entered for the Show as follows:
- Pedigree Bull Calf born after 1st November 2007
- Pedigree Heifer Calf born after 1st November 2007
- Pedigree Maiden Heifer born after 1st November 2006
- Pedigree In-Calf heifer any age
- Pedigree Aubrac cow any age
- Pedigree Bull 1year old and not over 24 months
- Best pair of animals the property of the same exhibitor and exhibited in the above classes
- AIB National Livestock Show Aubrac Champion
Prizes per class : Winner € 100 ; 2nd : € 60 ; 3rd € 40 + rosette
Champion and reserve, no prize money but : Tullamore Trophy, Aubrac Society perpetual trophy cup, rosette.
A bell is also offered by the Union/Upra Aubrac to the Champion.

OTHER SHOWS
PLOUGHING MATCH
The 2008 Ploughing Championships will take place this year in Farmley, Cuffesgrange, Kilkenny
On the 23rd – 24th –25th of September
.
The Irish Aubrac Society will as usual have an exhibit of approximately 20 cattle of various ages.
FRENCH SHOWS
3 Irish owned animals competed in the Simagena Euroaubrac in Villepinte, Paris on the 4th of March 2007. The results were very good with Vermeille owned by Bernard Casey from Longford finishing second in her class, Abbeyleix, owned by James Phelan from Abbeyleix finishing 3rd in his class and Volga owned by Paul McCann Mullinahone Tipperary finishing fourth.
There were 60 pre selected animals presented by over 40 breeders from 5 European countries.
Championship results :
Young female : Boheme - Gaec Raynal
Adult cow : Reine – Delrieu Cissac
Young bull : Amoureux – Tardieu
Adult bull : Urbain - Bonifacie
The Paris show will take place end of February/beginning of March.
The Cournon Show will take place early October near Clermont-Ferrand and will also hold the French “Aubrac Show of the Breed”.
